Where do GWR trains to Herefordshire arrive and depart?
GWR trains run direct to Hereford and Ledbury from London Paddington via Oxford, Worcester and Great Malvern on the picturesque Cotswolds Line. Alternatively, take a GWR train along the South Wales Mainline to Newport and change onto local Transport for Wales services to Hereford via Abergavenny and the scenic route skirting the Black Mountains in the eastern range of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park to the south west of the county.
What’s the best way to get around Herefordshire?
Hereford train station is conveniently located just to the north of the city centre, a short walk or Beryl Bike away. Alternatively, free electric Zipper buses run from the train station to the city centre and around.
Trains run between Hereford and a some of the pretty market towns such as Ledbury and Leominster, whilst bus services criss-cross the county.
