Leaving the Nectar scheme
- GWR left Nectar on 30 March 2022. We have taken this decision as we adapt to the impact of COVID-19 on the railway and continue to evaluate our offer to deliver the best value for our customers and taxpayers.
- The collection of Nectar points ended on 30 March 2022. You can no longer collect Nectar points on your purchases through GWR.com or via our app.
- Nectar points collected on bookings made either online or via our app up to and including 30 March 2022 will be processed within 28 days.
- Any previously awarded Nectar points will still be available through your Nectar account at nectar.com.
- Your points history is available through your Nectar account at nectar.com.
- No. GWR has never held details about your Nectar Card number. Strict security measures were in place under GDPR laws preventing GWR knowing your Nectar Card number (which was protected by what is called a Hashed ID which only Nectar could access).
