What to expect from Yeovil Literary Festival

The Yeovil Literary Festival presents an exciting programme of literature, comedy and arts events from well-known literary figures, comedians, celebrities and exciting new writers. The festival is a not-for-profit partnership between The Octagon Theatre and Westlands Entertainment Venue (part of Yeovil Town Council), Waterstones, Yeovil Community Arts Association and Somerset Library Service.
 

The festival launched in 2013 and sold 2,500 tickets and has gone on to sell over 6,000 tickets annually to the festival in recent years. Some of the names to appear over the years include Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Raynor Wiin, Miriam Margolyes, Craig Revel Horwood, Jason Plato, Michael Portillo, Hugh Bonneville, Michael Ball, Michael Morpurgo – plus many more!
 

The Yeovil Literary Festival has gone from strength to strength and is one of the South-wests leading Literary Festivals that enables words to come to life. The 2024 welcomes familiar names including Sir Ian Rankin, Martin Clunes, Andrew Child, Susie Dent, Carol Klien, Sue Cleaver, Wayne Sleep and many more. How to get to Yeovil Literary Festival

Getting to the Yeovil Literary Festival is easy. GWR services run to Yeovil Pen Mill station on direct routes from Bristol, Weymouth, Gloucester and beyond, from where it is a 15-minute walk to the town centre.
