What to expect
Make a day of it and watch musical performances by school groups before the parade. And, if you want a bite to eat, plenty of food stalls will be open from early afternoon, as well as local favourite eateries.
Then, if you've still got some energy, continue the party with outdoor music at one of the many venues in the city.
One of the best ways to get to the festival is by train to Truro station. It's then just under 10-minutes to walk to the top of the parade route on Little Castle Street. Head to Lemon Quay, 15-minute walk from the station, for more of the action.Definitely one not to miss.
