St Ives Food and Drink Festival celebrates the growing food culture in Cornwall by bringing together some of the region’s top local producers and businesses and the country’s top chefs, in a gastronomic, fun family event for the food-loving public.
Taking place on the stunning Porthminster Beach, a short walk from St Ives train station and attractions such as Tate St Ives, the festival brings together demos from local, national and celebrity chefs, artisan market and street food, live music and family entertainment. The evening will include a beer and cider festival and live music on all 3 nights.
How to get to St Ives Food and Drink Festival
The easiest way to attend the festival and dodge the traffic and limited parking of St Ives is going by train. Travel with GWR on one of our mainline services to or from Penzance and change at St Erth station. Or if you're driving, park at St Erth Park and Ride.From there, you can catch the train to St Ives station, with amazing views along the coast past Hayle Towans and Carbis Bay, offering you one of the most scenic rail experiences in Britain. Then it’s a simple 7-minute walk to Porthminster Beach.
