When is Plymouth Armed Forces Day 2022?
Following the cancellation of the 2021 edition of Plymouth Armed Forces Day, this year the event shall be returning on 25 June from 10:00 to 10:30.
What to expect from Plymouth Armed Forces Day
This free annual event is a great way to support the armed forces. You’ll be treated to amazing air displays as well as military parades and an evening concert running from 17:00 to 22:30. If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about the armed forces, this is the event for you.
The venue site is organised into individual military 'villages', where you can find out more about each force, do interactive activities and check out their equipment.
Highlights of the day include:
- Air display by the Red Arrows
- RAF Spitfire flypast
- Field gun competition
How to get to Plymouth Armed Forces Day?
Plymouth Armed Forces Day 2022 will be held at the Plymouth Hoe, which is quite easy to get to by train. Simply grab a train to the nearest station, Plymouth station. From there, it’s a 22-minute walk south. If you want to get public transport, we recommend getting the 13, the 16 or the 33 to Royal Parade and walking the remaining 10 minutes
