What to expect at the Great Malvern Christmas Festival
Great Malvern Christmas Festival is back! This festive treasure trove is the perfect way to kick off the most wonderful time of the year and get the whole family in the festive spirit. From 10am on 26 November 2022 in Great Malvern festivities begin, you can get cracking with your Christmas shopping at the Arts and Craft market, experience the incredible animatronic polar bear, and listen to music from Malvern Hills District Bass Band, Dukes Jazz Society and more.Festive refreshments and entertainment will be held inside the spectacular Great Malvern Priory and in the afternoon presenters from BBC Hereford & Worcester host a great selection of music as they lead up to the lights switch on at 18:00.
Grab a bite to eat or a sweet treat at the food market on Abbey Road, and head down to Great Malvern Library where the big man himself will be holding court in his magical grotto. The Christmas lights will be switched on following the traditional children’s light parade. This FREE event is yuletide joy for one and all.
