Visit landmarks and historical sites, galleries and museums

Explore the golden age of the Great Western Railway as you explore our 24 acre living museum.

Take unlimited train rides, stroll through our 1932 engine shed which houses our collection of engines, our carriage shed with an extensive collection of beautifully restored carriages and wagons, and a one-of-a-kind steam railmotor.

If that wasn’t enough, immerse yourself in our museum of artefacts and GWR’s very own road rail vehicle display.

With a café and gift shop on-site, there’s no rush – relax as you savour the sights, sounds and smells of steam.

And if that wasn’t enough to fill your day, there will also be the option to join a fabulous model making workshop (extra charge payable), so take the chance to make your favourite character. Limited spaces are available, so book now so you don’t miss out.
