Christmas is always a special time at The Story Museum and this year is no exception. Get into the festive spirit with a visit to the Galleries where you can fly with the Snowman, walk into Narnia and play Pooh sticks. And don’t forget to pop into the cosy café while you’re there, for a warming hot chocolate and tasty treat.
Combine a visit to the Museum with a ticket to the Christmas show, Tom Thumb is perfect for families with children aged 4+. Presented by Lyngo Theatre and performed entirely on and under a kitchen table, this classic story is brought to life in a playful and fascinating show full of Lyngo's magic with feathery spinning birds, a flying house and a portable forest. Join tiny Tom on his very big adventure!
Opening hours
The Story Museum is open Tuesday to Sunday during term time and daily during the Christmas holidays (21 December to 3 January). The Museum will be closed on 25 and 26 December.
Tom Thumb runs from 21 to 24 December and 27 to 29 December with shows at 11:00 and 14:30. There will be a British Sign Language interpreted performance on Saturday 23 December at 11:00.
