Thorpe-le-Soken station has no step free access. Interchange between trains here is possible if assistance is requested either on board or is pre-booked, however passengers arriving at the station who wish to travel on Greater Anglia train services are required to cross to the two platforms via a stepped footbridge. Mobility impaired passengers or those with heavy luggage are therefore advised to travel from Clacton-on-Sea or Kirby Cross stations.
