Customer and Community Improvement Fund 2024/25
Our Customer and Community Improvement Fund for this financial year is closed to bids and fully allocated.
Please note this fund is the only source of community investment that we have as a business. If you would like to be added to our distribution list for further information regarding bidding opportunities, please email community.fund@gwr.com.
Our Customer and Community Improvement Fund supports small and medium rail related projects that can be completed over the course of the financial year. We are particularly interested in schemes that:
- benefit customers
- increase rail travel
- celebrate and educate on GWR rail heritage
- encourage carbon reduction
- connect communities, people, and places
- support economic growth
- promote inclusion and diversity of the rail industry
- deliver education programmes that support careers in rail
- deliver education programmes that increase awareness and experience of public transport and rail safety.
